I need suggestions for good places to eat lunch in Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket.ugadog

You might want to re-post putting Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket in your thread title.

You also might want to change the title to "Best" place for lunch.

Oh! I was trying to think of a place where guys in black turtlenecks played bongos while reciting poetry.

Aw, come on! Surely we can come up with some answers for the post title as written! :-)

ugadog - I'll try to help you out. On Nantucket, go to Something Natural on Cliff Road for lunch. It's very a casual, eat outside at picnic tables kind of place, but the sandwiches and cookies are delicious. Arno's on Main Street and the Atlantic Cafe are also okay for a casual, indoor lunch. There are also many take-out places along "the Strip" right where the Steamship Authority ferry comes in. Tacos Tacos and Stubby's located there are good. If you want something more fancy, I would check out the outdoor dining by the pool at the Summer House in Sconset, 21 Federal or The Boarding House in town. Hope you enjoy Nantucket!
