warmest florida beach in december?

You can never figure out what the Dec. temps will be. Can be 80+ or 60+

I agree with luv2fly. I've been in South Florida at Xmas & have had everything from 40-80 degree weather, but mostly 70-80. If you're talking about water temperature, I think the west coast on the gulf is better (ie Naples). On the east coast, anywhere from Boca to Miami will have pretty much the same weather.

The further south the better, but certainly no guarantees. As mclaurie said, warmest water temperature will be in the Gulf at Naples.

The equation is pretty simple, I think: the farther south you go, the warmer the temps. So it seems as if the keys are where to go.
