Good luck in the Marathon this weekend!

You must be confusing the Marathon with the NJ/NY Fodors GTG that is this weekend. I think the NYC Marathon is 6 November?

But either way, if you are in town this weekend, come to our GTG in Weehawken.

I can't wait to run my first marathon.

Budman, your suggestion about liquid carbo-loading is a good one. In fact, when I was vacationing in Ireland this past August, I had several GREAT training runs after several, a-hem, pints of guinness the nights before. :-)

I guess you're now tapering in preparation for that. I hate backing off the mileage--it just feels wrong (but I know it is right).
