beach resort recommendation
 

I would love some suggestions for a beach resort area in August. We are 2 single, mid-thirties girls looking for a place with a great beach, charm and a little night life action. Considering Jersey Shore and Nantucket. thanks in advance!

Long Beach Island would be best on the Jersey shore.

Hi Ellen, <BR>My vote goes to Ocean City Maryland. I think its super for night life. Good beach too. Prices are high in august. Boardwalk great. Lots to see and do.Many families, but lots of singles also. <BR>they have a web site. Just type in Ocean City Maryland and it should come up. Even in winter the shops on the boardwalk are open. Its only about 1 1/2 from wilmington Delaware, or you could go to Cape may NJ and take the ferry over to Lewes and by pass rehoboth Beach and head south. <BR>Thats it for my 2 cents worth. As a Jersey Boy native there are a few options depending on your budget, Seaside Heights is fun has an OK night life and wont break the bank, you can head down a bit further to Wildwood, also alot of fun...
