B'day dinner - Zion park

In the end of Septmeber we are staying at the Desert Pearl Inn but need to find the best place (with some charm and excellent food) for this very special evening. Thanks

We are going to Zion and staying at Desert Pearl Inn Sept 21-25. I heard good things about the Spotted Dog Cafe at Flannigan's Inn. I read that it had great patio views too. Also the Bit & Spur was supposed to be good too. They are both on my to do list. I can not wait to go! Hope you have great birthday, regardless of where you eat. :-) Judy

My husband and I ate at the Bit and Spur in June. We sat outside with a view of the lawn and flowers. The experience was much nicer than I had imagined. It wasn't haute cuisine, but it was the best meal we had on an 11 day trip.

Thank you Judy and Travellyn. We should try the Bit and Spur and we'll let you know

Bit & Spur has mexican spicy food. The Desert Pearl Inn is a simple motel with nice rooms but nothing special, IMO. Best Western has beautiful rooms. We stayed in both.

I loved Desert Pearl Inn, IMO, you won't be disapponted, Bit and Spur was wonderful and moderately priced,,,the salsa was great sit outside if you can. Did not like the Spotted Dog Cafe in Flannigan's,,,waiter was the worse waiter we ever had! FYI, Judy :-)

We had a great dinner at the Spotted Dog Cafe and our waitress was wonderful. I guess you never know.
