B&B's in Key West

Going to Key West in June, been there several times but always looking for the next "best place". Any suggestions on B&B's with a garden, nice but not fancy and good host(s). Thanks.

Or maybe I won't, anyway, I would suggest the Heron House or Marquesa. Both are in good locales (Simonton) yet still close to everything while not right on Duval.

The friendliest place we've stayed is Ambrosia House on Fleming. Favorite room we've had is at Island City House, third floor back of the house, huge veranda, right at palm level. Love it. We've also stayed at Paradise Inn, very nice, somewhat more expensive.

We, also, are looking for other great places to try. Where have you stayed in the past? Jean

Simonton Court on Simonton Street has a wonderful garden like setting and a variety of accomodations. We have stayed there twice and love it.

Eden House is also very nice and fun.

Stayed at LaPensione on Truman. The hosts were great and made a fantastic breakfast and the rooms were comfy. Check it out www.lapensione.com.
Have fun!

We love the Artist House. I don't remember the name of the street it is on, but it steps from Duval. We stayed in the old master bedroom (Anne Suite) and it had a huge bathroom with a clawfoot tub. Very nice garden area in back with a hot tub.

Thanks for all the suggestions. JeanH, in the past I have stayed at Center Court, Courtney's Place and Abaco Inn. All very well located and super nice hosts. Thanks again for the input.
