Be sure to post in the Louisiana area about your upcoming trip to New Orleans and plenty of NOLA lovers will chime in to help you plan a great trip! You picked my favorite month to visit New Orleans, April. Are you going for Jazz Fest? If so, you'll need to be very careful about getting rooms right now as hotels book up quickly.

Nice report....I must warn you, if you stopped at Cline in the afternoon it is no surprise that they were friendly, they typically taste w/the customers, so there you go. When you headed to NOLA ?

I have family in Austin (was born there), lived just outside of N.Orleans for 8 years, but am still wanting to get to the Bay Area!
