Battery Park area dining/activities?

Our hotel has changed for next weekend to the Battery Park area(at my friend's request to take in the concert & festival over the holiday weekend). Can anyone suggest a few restaurants (both nice/upscale & casual) for dinner?
Also, in Century 21 within walking distance of BP - and do I need to get there early to avoid crowds & have a good selection?
Thanks!

Southwest is good for an outdoor casual brunch/lunch or dinner. It's on the marina in the World Financial Center - an excellent setting.

Hudson River Park had lots of activities such as bike rentals (the bike path along the Hudson is 15 miles or more), batting cages, free kayak rentals at the Downtown Boathouse, mini-golf, trapeze lessons, and a skateboarding park. All this stuff is located just a few blocks north of BP City.

Century 21 is a few blocks from BP City. YES, get there early...it is always a madhouse.

Try MarkJoseph Steakhouse on Water St. Wonderful steak, we thought better than Peter Luger.

Walk a few blocks north of Battery Park and there are plenty of good places in Tribeca. Some of my favorites in the area are Flor De Sol, City Hall, and Le Zinc.

Just read Pacific Grill will open on June 30th at 89 South Street Seaport in the Pier 17 Mall. Pan Asian cuisine.

Also read that Le Zinc is offering $3/dinner off if you show them your cab receipt (on Sat & Sun during the summer) It's also open for breakfast & lunch. Nice French bistro.
