Barabary Coast- Yes or NO

Help..The inlaws booked us in at the Barbary
at a decent price, $350 for 5 nights in April/2002...great location however I have not been able to find any comments on the room quality?..I don't really need all the swank of the major hotels but I do need "clean and comfortable" at a minimum..With that said if I can get the swank for similar price I''ll
take it

Anyone have any opinions on the Barbary?

I hate to break it to you but this hotel (Vegas) is a dump. It's in a great location though! Right across from Bally's. It's just old and rundown. I have never stayed there though so possibly the rooms have been renovated?
