Bar Harbor restaurants

Can anyone recommend some restaurants to go to in Bar Harbor? My husband does not eat shellfish, so we need a place with variety. Also need a few that are more casual and maybe some more up-scale as well.
Breakfast and lunch places also.

We really liked Poor Boy's Gourmet. Make sure you make a reservation.

for more upscale, try Havana. It was the best meal we had in Bar Harbor, and definitely has variety.

Itt, if you were talking about Miquels, it's been replaced by Seasons, but we haven't eaten there.

Our favorite place is Cafe This Way, down a side street off the park in the center of town.

Havana is an excellent choice. Miguel's was replaced by Seasons but Miguel's is back! Haven't been there yet but can't wait to go.

There is a tiny cafe near the pier that serves the best crab bisque; but I cannot remember the name. It is next to a small gift shop (owned by the same people). You can also get non-seafood sandwiches. The cafe does not look like much, but is definitely worth a visit.

Just an alternative idea...We were there a year ago this week, and we enjoyed a dinner on Father's Day at the Atlantic Brewing Company just outside of Bar Harbor. I believe they offer BBQ foods every Sunday, and I don't mean just the regular hot dogs and hamburgers, but heaping plates of Cuban pork, sausages, and I can't even recall what else. The root beer is fresh and cold and served in the big mugs (the kids get a kick out of that) and their regular beers are also pretty good. They also offer free brewery tours.

Wherever you decide to go, don't forget to stop in afterwards at Ben and Bill's for homemade ice cream (don't try the lobster...it's terrible!).

Me again. Just remembered the name of the cafe: Lobster Claw.

The Atlantic Brewing Company does have some excellent beers. I just remember the Jack Russell Brewpub, right past the Cat Ferry station as you enter Bar Harbor, had the worst beer on the Island. Their stout was just horrible. ((b))

Jack Russel Pub also has food as foul as the beer. DON'T go there. Budman is right, it has amazingly bad beer.
