Bar Harbor hotel walking distance of shops
 
Help I need to make reservations LIKE RIGHT AWAY for a hotel in Bar Harbor. I need a place that is very nice (I'm not to worried about price) and you can walk to shops and places to eat. I am not looking for a B&B though. As you can see I have never been to Bar Harbor. Thanks much!

My husband have stayed twice at the Bar Harbor Inn, which is a beautiful place right on the harbor within walking distance of the entire downtown and harbor. They do have a website you might check. We love it there!

40 years ago I stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn, and still remember it favorably.

From looking at the web site, it appears even better today.

Another vote for the Bar Harbor Inn - best place in town - excellent location - go for the ocean front rooms.
