We stayed at the Wonder View Inn (www,wonderviewinn.com)a few weeks ago...they have many different types of rooms. We had a triple on the 2nd floor of the Hillcrest building-huge room, 2 queen beds, balcony, lovely views for $179.95 per night. For a delicious splurge meal try the lobster crepes at Maggie's.

have to agree on the Wonder View Inn - slightly outdated room deco (circa 1976) but VERY large rooms and nice people. We were there last in September 2001 and if it's hadn't been foggy the entire time we were there, I'm sure the view would have been beautiful!!

We've been going to Bar Harbor every year for years and have always stayed at the Wonder View. It's got beautiful views and is inexpensive, and is reasonably close to town. We always get the Courtyard because it's cheaper, and it still has ocean views, and a nice porch to drink coffee on in the morning.

We stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn and were more than satisfied. At first we thought it would be too expensive, but when we checked we found that there was a package deal with the most delicious dinner, great breakfast and a gift certificate for the gift shop. That was a couple of years ago in May.

Just stayed at the Primrose Inn in Bar Harbor. Beautiful rooms, some with little sitting rooms. Great hosts and good food. Very pleasant experience.

Check out the Maine Innkeepers Association website. It offers lodging info and links to lodging in all towns in Maine. Lots of info on Bar Harbor. <BR>maineinns.com.
