Baltimore restaurants-Angelinas is where???

Looking for your favorite restaurants in Baltimore! Is Angelinas still there? if yes, where? Faidleys in Lexington Mkt? Fosters?? Obryckis is on the list for our trip but would like some more suggestions. Thanks to all who respond!

Try the www.fodors.com Restaurant Index... it's very good for building a good listing of baltimore inner harbor
and otherwise places to eaat.

Angelina's is still on Harford Road in Northeast Baltimore. The crabcakes are very good.

In Little Italy, Caesar's Den has excellent veal dishes. Other good restaurants there include Boccaccio's and Aldo's. (But the prices in Little Italy have risen steadily over the years.)

Obrycki's has fine crabs. So does Kostas in Dundalk, Bill's Tavern in Essex or Crackpot at Loch Raven and Taylor(though the latter establishments are not upscale).

Faidley's is still in Lexington Market if you're a raw oyster fan.

In general, avoid the Inner Harbor for meals. It's mostly typical franchise food (e.g. Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, etc.) One exception is the Harbor Court Hotel for fine dining.

In Baltimore County on Shawan Road is the Oregon Ridge Grille, another fine dining selection.

Thanks Dan! That's what I was looking for. Good restaurants not necessarily in the Inner Harbor.

We're leaving next week-any last minute suggestions from anyone? What's YOUR favorite seafood restaurant in Baltimore?

The Pierpointe - a small place near Fells Point and Broadway (can't remember the street name anymore - Annabelle or something like that?) - anyway, the Pierpointe is intimate, food outstanding - check it out.
