Awesome! I've lived in MD for my whole life and never heard of anything like this being held in Baltimore. One of my favorite restaurants is on the list, Roy's. Lots of other places that I haven't heard of before. Anyone from this area have any suggestions?

There are a lot of good restaurants participating.

Tio Pepe and Prime Rib are Baltimore classics.

Pazo and Petit Louis are good restaurants from Cindy Wolf(Pazo is very hot now-it's a small plates kind of format.I'll be going there restaurant week.)

Aldo's is a very expensive Italian in Little Italy. This would be a good way to try it without breaking the bank.

There are lots of other great choices,I could go on and on!

Great place in Little Italy is Amicci's. Good food, reasonable price. amicci's.com Try their signature app - PANE ROTUNDO. ((b))

There are some good restaurants on there! I love Petit Louis, and I have yet to find cheap Chinese food that can compare to Ding How. My personal favorite in Little Italy is Aldo's. Foie gras to die for!

It's about time Baltimore had one of these! My husband received an e-mail about this from opentable.com the other night, so I was pretty excited. There are some really good restaurants on the list - several have already been mentioned, but I'll add that Mezze and Babalu Grill are also good; the Black Olive would be a steal at $30 for dinner; and Prime Rib and Pazo would be my top picks for people who haven't already been there.

We already have reservations for Aldo's and The Capital Grille that week, but I can't convince my husband to also check out Oceanaire, so someone will have to do it for me!

If you like Mexican, the Blue Agave on Federal Hill is very good.

FYI-I had dinner at Aldo's last night. The special $30/3-course menu was terrific.I thought perhaps they would offer something inferior to their regular menu, but it was lovely.

I had:
Tower of roasted vegetables w/goat cheese,

lamb chops,

tiramisu-big portion,yum!

Tomorrow,it's Pazo,and tonight somewhere else,not sure.Buon appetito!

Thanks for the info, massagediva! I'm heading to Aldo's on Fri. night and was wondering about the menu since it wasn't posted on the Restaurant Week web site. I'm headed to The Capital Grille tonight!

The Capital Grille had fantastic food and excellent service! The filet was the most tender I've ever had, and my husband liked the signature Kona sirloin. Our waiter said that The Capital Grille spearheaded Restaurant Week since this week is generally slow for Baltimore restaurants and other restaurants followed suit. Looking forward to Aldo's on Fri!

That sounds like a wonderful meal.Enjoy Aldo's.

Some of the participating restaurants are extending it for a further week...these are listed on the Restaurant Week website.
