Baltimore area B-day suggestions

Will be in Baltimore area and looking for suggestions to take 17 year old boy for his birthday. Had suggestion of Dave and Buster's at White Flint Mall--seems kind of far to drive for video games. Any other thoughts?

The National Aquarium and the Science center in the Inner Harbor are two great choices. Also for lunch or dinner, there is the Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters.

There's an ESPN Zone at the Inner Harbour which a teenage boy might really like. Also, Fort McHenry isn't too far away, and is the birthplace of the national anthem. It is about a 3-mile drive from the harbour. If he likes trains, the B&O museum with their collection of "rolling stock" is pretty cool, too.

Arundel Mills Mall near BWI airport has a Jillians, bigger/better than Dave and Busters. Also, National Aquarium and Hard Rock would be nice at the Inner Harbor/Baltimore

I seem to recall that there was a roof collapse at the train museum putting it out of commission until further notice. We enjoyed bus tours around the town -- see the Bromo-selzter tower, Edger Poe's grave. Water Taxi's in the Inner Harbor allow all day use to get to different areas of the harbor. USS Constitution & the submarine at the harbor as well. How about a ball game, or just visit Camdem Yards?

Amicci's in Little Italy has great reasonably priced pasta and Vacarro's (the very best)for dessert in Little Italy . Phillips on the water at the Inner Harbor is good for Maryland style seafood, though Obrycki's (famous crab house tel. 410-732-6399 1727 E. Pratt Street) for authentic hard shells. Cheesecake Factory always good food especially for a 17 year old appetite, nad ESPN Zone for games and food. Hope these help. Too many good choices in Baltimore to mess around with traveling outside the city.
