Baltimore Airport

I'm travelling to Washington DC at the end of this month, for a short break and I need some advice on what is the best way to travel, to and from, Baltimore Airport into Washington DC.
I've also heard that certain hotels offer shuttle services....we're staying at the Washington Hilton & Towers.
Amtrak Shuttle leaves often from front of airport and goes directly to Amtrak Station and the train into Union Station.Very quick and convenient. Cost around $ 8-!0.(can't remember exactly) On way back I had to take an "Supper Shuttle" from Tacoma Park (suburb of DC) cost $28
Wow! Did the "Supper Shuttle" have great dinner service or what!?

Sorry, Kay, I couldn't resist.

Seems like those SuperShuttle rates are about $30 just about everywhere. It is quite a drive from BWI to DC, so that doesn't surprise me. The train really is your best deal -- but then you'll still need a cab to the hotel. I'd guess you'd still end up paying about $25 total for transit...check with the hotel first and you might get a break!

I dont know how large your party is...

But, if your with at least 2 others, a door to door car (they have car services at the exits at BWI) may be more cost effective than the Shuttle.

I did that a few years ago from BWI to downtown DC with a small group and we saved some cash vs. the shuttle (and its more comfortable than a cab).

-Tony
