Yes, this is a great company.

I used to see them when I lived in NYC, and I am waiting for single-ticket sales to become available for their performances in March, 2008.

what is single-ticket sales?? can't you just buy one ticket? I believe they will be in nyc final november and all december in the american dance theatre (wherever that is..)

In Seattle, Alvin Ailey Dance Company is appearing in a subscription series that includes other dance companies. At the present time, tickets are on sale only if you wish to subscribe to all offerings in the series.

I am waiting for single-ticket sales, which means sales for tickets to one company but not the others in this series--in this case, the Alvin Ailey Dance Company.
