I am reading this thread and I will be in Hawaii soon as had great interest in hearing jpiwaron's comments. However, the more I read, the more confused I've become. Should I eat here or shouldn't I? I'm so curious now I guess I'm going to have to try it just to see who is right!

Since the reposting of the original poster I'd put it all into this perspective. If you feel seeing a few ants on a wall is an indication that it is a bad restaurant, and if you feel that being handed a dirty take out box or finding a dirty fork at your place (probably by mistake, I suppose) is an indication that you'd not want to eat there, then don't.

And I suppose the people along the Gulf Shore would be so happy to be able to eat at this restaurant. Everythng is relative, is it not?

>And I suppose the people along the Gulf Shore would be so happy to be able to eat at this restaurant.<

This is a travel forum. The guy posted about a restaurant he didn't like when his family travelled to Hawaii. You or others may not like how he expressed himself but to suggest that by posting his comments he's insensitive to the plight of the folks on the gulf coast is asinine. Otherwise, every single poster dithering about which play to see or which suburb to move to or what to freaking pack deserves the same comment.

Oh, please! Forty-four (and this makes 45) replies already! You never know which seemingly simple posts are going to arouse a storm of controversy. Truly a "tempest in a teapot"...

Oops! THIS makes 44! I'm so weary of it all, I've lost count...

Rockhopper, you got that right. It is way beyond assinine.
Haven't you noticed that some people must feel compelled to reply to nearly each and every thread regardless what they say.
I wish I had that much free time.
