I am a transplanted Texan, from Houston for 30 yrs, and have been in suburbs of DC for the last 20 yrs. I love Arizona, have friends who own property in Oak Creek Canyon, and go there frequently. Would like to retire there part of the year. I also have relatives in MA, my husband's family is there on the Cape and in Beantown suburbs.
How in the world did you keep going on that trip w/that heart rate. Goodness, you must be able to tell the difference now.
I want to go to Canyon de Chelley on our next Arizona trip.
So you have you done other Elderhostel programs- which ones? I think you should start a post describing your elderhostel expereinces and asking about other people's experiences w/elderhostels. It would be interesting to see the responses. I'd like to find out more about thir programs, it sounds very interesting and educational and fun.

EMD, thank you so much for topping it! At least I have an excuse for missing it, was out of the country, what's yours
Is Elderhostel for those from 50 now? Have they changed the age requirement?
When I was 50, got AARP, called EH, they told me to grow up BUT they also told me, if there is anybody over 55 in my household (husband, parents, siblings) I can sign up and then travel alone, this is allowed.
Lemme wander off to the EH.com...
