Back from a Cosmos tour

Hi, I'm back from "Southwestern Vistas" - motorcoach Cosmos tour out of LA, saw Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Bryce, Zion. It was a fairy tale from start to end. Somebody here warned me not to come back to cry - can't find this post now - well, I want to cry, but for a different reason - only because it's over. I will come back later with a report whether you like it or not :) Just let me go through the paperwork at work so I can at least see my desk!

Was the tour mostly seniors and foreigners? Average age? Sounds like a nice trip, but don't want to be the only young person on the tour.

xxx, sorry just now saw your question. I'd say about 25% on the tour were under 30. 1/2 of them were from US, 1/2 from UK and Australia.

I think Kon-Tiki age requirement is under 35, and Tortouise is for young people only.

Hi Faina, glad you had such a nice time! Could you please comment on the location of the hotels, as far as location (were you "in the middle of it all" or a little further out, etc) and the amenities offered by the hotels that Cosmos used? thanks!

It was off-season, early November, the weather was perfect, not crowded, and we were getting the best motels like Maswik Lodge, Zion Best Western, don't remember now, going home... there is my full report on this site somewhere, search for Cosmos. Location was perfect except Las Vegas 1 night Stratosphere not the center of the strip, but hotel itself is nice for the price! Good night everybody.
