Back Bay hotel in July
ello,
I'm looking for a recommendation for a back Bay hotel for the end of July. We'd like to keep it under $300/night, ideally closer to $250, but I understand that makes for slim picking. We usually like boutique hotel, so we don't mind smaller room that don't look like a holiday inn (as long as it's not run down). Must be QUIET, but we don't need much (if any) amenities. We will have a car, but I understand we will have to pay to park anyways, and will not use it during our 3 days, so as long as there is at the very least a lot nearby, we're ok. Thanks in advance! |

Check the prices on the Courtyard Copley Square. It's a very convenient location near the train station and the T.

We loved the Newbury Guest House - nice quiet rooms, fabulous neighborhood, breakfast at their adjoining restaurant provided.

Is there a particular reason why you say Back Bay? If price is a concern, you might be able to save a bit if you are flexible and somewhere like the Theater District or Downtown would still be quite central.

Charlesmark, Copley Square Hotel, and the Lenox, are all smaller-sized Back Bay hotels. I'm not sure of the rates since Boston hotel prices vary greatly week-to-week depending on conventions and events. Of those three, I think the Charlesmark is generally less expensive than most of the others.
