bachelor party suggestions
my best friend is getting married, and he's definitely not into the vegas/atlantic city thing. he doesn't play golf, either.

i really want to do something special for him, but i also want to make sure it's somewhere fun we could go out and have a great time.

Carl-
A friend of mine went whitewater rafting with his buds for a his bachelor party and had a blast. Depending on when your friend is getting married, similar out-doorsy things could be fun- skiing, hiking, kayaking, etc.

I'm not sure if you mean by "Vegas/Atlantic" thing that he doesn't like those particular cities or if he doesn't like to gamble. Some other cities to consider: New Orleans or Key West.

Forgot another suggestions- If he has a favorite sports teams, you could visit the city and make it a sports weekend. My boyfriend will frequently go to Chicago to go to a Cubs game with the boys.

I don't know what area of the country you are in. Here in the DC area, a lot of guys I know have gone to the beach (ie Myrtle, Outer Banks) to hang out, hit the bars, go deep sea fishing, and play golf (I know that's not an option).

go to chicago for a cubs game at wrigley field. it is the world's largest outdoor bar. the only problem: it is only open 81 days a year when nine grown men chase after a ball. i don't even understand what that is about. we just go for the beer and women!!!!

My brother and his friends rented a cabin up in the mountains (PA), and just had a real "man" weekend away from it all. Lots of sports, beer, whiskey, junk food, and inflated tales.

Come on, now. You gotta hit a few strip joints and get blasted. In Maryland, Waldorf used to be very wide open. In DC, there is Archibalds on K Street, Camelots and the Joanna's 1819 Club on M Street (almost next door), Good Guys at about 2200 Wisconsin Ave and the sleezy Royal Palace three blocks north of Dupont Circle.

definitely key west!!!!
