B&B in Sonoma Wine Country

My husband and I are planning a trip (2 or 3 nights) to visit wineries in the Sonoma Valley area. We are trying to find a great B&B to stay at in Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood or somewhere in the general area (we are flexible). Key features would be a great breakfast, a great tub, comfortable bed and linens, and friendly, warm staff. Any favorites? Thank you!

The Kenwood Inn & Spa sounds wonderful. Check out their webiste, www.kenwoodinn.com I haven't stayed here YET but recently signed up to win a stay here!! (Fingers are crossed)

Has anyone been here? I love The Sonoma Mission Inn. They have a nice restaurant there, Sante where we had a delicious breakfast and the tubs were great in the rooms we had and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. (You even get a complimentary bottled water from the valet attendant when you depart.)

They recently remodeled, so I'm sure it's even better now. Have also heard good things about McArthur Place B&B. Have a great time! ***kim*** :)

We stayed at the Gaige House in Glen Ellen a few years ago and loved it. The breakfasts then were to die for, and since then they've brought in a chef specifically for their breakfasts -- I saw it written up somewhere recently. It was very comfortable, but I can't recall specifically whether the rooms have tubs. I'd definitely stay there again.

The Gaige House Inn in Glen Ellen is to die for! My husband and I went there for our one year wedding anniversary and it was a piece of heaven--we had the Gaige Suite--only one word can describe it--WOW. Sue made us feel so welcome. I had a private massage on my balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfasts are phemonenal. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Go to TripAdvisor.com and do some research. I was really sad that we didn't book McArthur place, until I recently read some really bad reviews. These didn't sound like whiners, either, they were very specific. I saw Gaige House, and while it looked lovely, found the town to lack amenities. If you stay in Sonoma, at least you can walk to lots of shops and restaurants. I love Healdsburg, especially the Grape Leaf Inn. The tub would hold a family. The staff is GREAT- the daily wine tasting is to die for and the breakfast was the best of any place we'd had in the state.

Thank you for all this information! Keep it coming! Also, anyone stay at Brick House Bungalows? Sonoma Hotel? Cottage Inn and Spa?
