If the scorpion is on the floor, we step on it or smash it with a shoe. if it is on the wall, we place a glass over it and then slide a paper between the glass and the wall, trapping the scorpion in the glass and then flush it. If it is on the ceiling, we usually just watch it.

GoTravel, The only thing that has gotten rid of the ONE Palmetto that got into our house somehow-was The Yankee.
With the help of his shoe and a magazine and with a captive audience of one wife and one pup. Both were horrified and cheered him on but did not participate in any way with the killing.
I have discovered this morning, out in the garden, a huge web. Stretching from a fence to a tree limb to another small shrub. It makes me shudder to imagine the size of its inhabitant.
I have sent the Yankee Killing Machine out with a bottle of bug spray.
Wish him luck, pup and I are staying in the house until it is over~
