AZ Route 59 from Page to Canyon de Chelly
 

We plan to travel from Page to Canyon de Chelly. I see a Reservation Route 59, just north of Kayenta (Kyenta is on Route 160. Has anyone taken Route 59?

Also can you recommend a place to stay outside of Page (maybe on/near Route 98 or 160). We have stayed in Page before, but we want to get a head start at the end of a day on the lake?
