AZ get away - Carefree Resort or Wigwam Resort ??
We are thinking about doing a 4 day getaway just before Christmas.
I have found some decent prices:
$179 with breakfast [$149 without] at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield
$195 a day with $100 spa credit [per day] at Carefree Resort.
They both look nice. Any input to help us decide? Reviews here are a bit out of date.
We are looking to relax and have a some nice meals.
Thanks,
Debi

Hi Debi..
Checked Expedia before Christmas and I have stayed at all the hotels you have listed and love them all but for $144 for the Royal Palms is a great deal and it's a wonderful hotel!
Rooms are exquisite and ask for a upgrade..
I have never met you but I see you as a perfect match for this place.
T Cooks restaurant is one of the best and the property is just a lovely place!
Keep us posted and have a wonderful holiday!

TT - this may seem like a strange question, but here goes.
As I have never booked with Expedia [or any similar booking site] does the rate shown include the resort fee or is that added on at the end?
Thanks,
Debi

Hi Debi..
Gosh, now you have me thinking..
I book mostly on Expedia and it seems that the 4-5* hotels all have the service resort fee and everytime it has been included in the taxes and fee's when I continue the booking on Expedia..
Call the Royal Palms or Expedia direct..call during the day so you don't get an Indian call center..
See if Royal Palms will match the Expedia rate with the resort fee included?
Keep us posted..
This is such a great hotel and I think you will really enjoy it!

Glad for TT's vote - anyone else have any first hand experiences? I have read reviews on here [very limited and old] and also on Tripadvisor. Just hoping to find some other's who have stayed at any of the hotels.
Thanks,
Debi
