Auto Rent Car Rentals in SanDiego
We are flying into San Diego the end of February and my husband found a good rate at Auto Rent Car Rentals in SanDiego. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Hi petsitter..
I would not rent a car from a NON National Company..there are so many National rental companies in SD that have great rates..plus, I googled their name and nothing came up.
Hotwire.com has the best deals on car rentals.
Good Luck to you.

petsitter - Agree with TahitiTams - try www.hotwire.com and see what rate you can get. Hotwire is a broker and your rental will be with one of the MAJOR national rental companies.
We used the Hotwire site this past November and we were placed with Hertz. Of course you can check the national rental companies and then you will have a comparison for Hotwire.
All the major car rentals pick you up from the airport.
Good luck and do share back how things turned out. Enjoy beautiful San Diego.

I also have positive experiences with Hotwire.
We're going to San Diego in early March, and I got a rental car via Priceline. I've found that I usually can get a car by bidding $1 or $2 lower than the hotwire's offer price.
We got a Compact car for $14/day (via Alamo).

Thanks everyone. I feel the same as you all but was trying to humor my husband. I think we will play it safe and try hotwire or priceline. It's no use ruining a trip to save a few dollars.
