Auntiemaria.........

Hello! I read your responses closely since you are a local there in the Princeville area. We were there in May, but now again leave Friday AM. Last time we stayed at all the fancy hotels (special anniversary), but we are staying at the Sea Lodge condos this time. I have read your restaurant reviews and have printed them, thank you. I think I remember you talking about an area in Princeville where you sit and what the sunset in the evening??? Or was that someone else? Thanks for all the information you post for us travelers!

For sunset views...

Princeville Hotel
Hanalei Bay Resort (Princeville)
Hanalei beach
`Anini Beach

And you'll have sunset views from the bluff at Sea Lodge, too.

Have a _great_ visit here!

Thank you! We are going to try each spot (did the Princeville while there last...wow what a view!) and also try your restaurant recommendations. We should have time to hit all or most in our 10 days!

Kaymit, I'd be interested in hearing how you like the Colony. We were thinking of staying there one trip. Maybe you could post when you return.

Kaymit:

Partial sunset views are possible from Hanalei Colony Resort in the summer. By October won't actually see the sun setting into the ocean, but you'll get the light effect.
