Attractions in Florida

Hi
I'd like to know the attractions in Florida. What would you recommend to visit? where to stay? The best places!
Thanks

Florida is a HUGE state the size of many countries. What kind of attrractions do you mean?

Fodors has guides on 12 different areas of the state. I suggestion you start reading here
http://fodors.com/miniguides/mgresul...cksonville@616
and work your way south.

Attractions for who?

Are you a senior couple?

A bunch of college kids on spring break?

A family with young kids?

And what are your interests?

Florida has tons of attractions - but the seniors might not like South Beach - and a family with kids would probably prefer Orlando to St. Augustine - or Key West.

Ruskinja---I'd be happy to help you with lots of details, but first I want to know a little bit of information about you. Where do you live now? Will you be traveling this year, next year, or never? If you don't plan to travel, why do you need to know?

I noticed that your other questions on this forum are all very general. Are you just looking for general information? Your sentence structure seems to indicate that you are not American.

Please make another entry on this forum and title it something like "Foreign resident needs information about ____"
Fill in the space with your needs and tell us a little about yourself.

Well, I am not American, that's right. I am a resident of Russia and work in tourism. And I have just started with this forum, asking questions that I need to know for my work. We are reading texts about different stuff and I want to get more information to tell then to my students.
About travel to Florida. Well, maybe, and I want to know about Daytona Beach and possibilities for going with kids, for honeymoon couples.
Thnx

You Go Girl!...(that's a good saying in US).... Florida has many attractions divided into groups of East Coast Beaches, Gulf Coast Beaches, Nature, Amusement Parks, The Florida Keys and Historical Sites... You should research each of these separately on this site and on the internet... on Fodors, let everyone know you are researching from Russia and they will be extremely helpful... if you don't... the mean people will try to make fun of you... good luck and welcome to the US posting board...

Let's start with What part of Florida?

If you can't answer that one, buy a guide book and then see what airports you can fly into from your location.

The panhandle is a different world compared to the Keys.

Well, sir, thank u a lot, you are very helpful. I know myself how to read books and manuals. But I like to listen to people's opinions

If you want opinions you need to ask a more specific question than attractions in FL. Otherwise we would all have to write you a book - and few of us have the time to do that.

Either read the destination sections above and on frommers.com and a few guide books - or ask specific questions that people have the time/energy to give you an answer to.

Also - if you search for FL state tourism on-line they will send you more brochures than you know what to do with.
