Attractions from Lynchburg to Nashville
 

I'm planning a summer road trip for my 5-year old daughters and myself. The only part that has me stumped is the pull from Lynchburg, VA to Nashville, TN. The drive looks to be about 7.5 hours and it's my only plan "long day" over the whole trip.

That being said, I'd like to break that drive up a bit. Perhaps a long 2-3 hour break in the middle or even a few 1-hour breaks along the way. (My plan is to take 81).

Any recommendations of things to see or do along the way?
