ATMs in Las Vegas

Are commission free ATM machines plentiful on the Las Vegas strip?

No. Commission fee ATMs are rare pretty much everywhere.

Check with your bank. My small local bank has a relationship with one of the large national banks and I can use either my bank or the ATMs of that national bank commission free.

As noted, most ATMs on the strip charge a commission, and a hefty one at that (I believe the commission is around $5 minimum plus whatever your bank charges for using them). There are a few chain drug stores on the strip, and you may be able to get cash back with a purchase, but I doubt you'd be able to get more than $20 in cash back from them.

You'll have to go off strip and find a regular bank ATM to avoid the fees.

You can always go to Walgreen's and do a cashback in addition to your purchase. ;-) But yes, fee-free ATMS are nonexistent on the Strip in Vegas.

So we will have to go Downtown to a regular bank if we need to draw money without getting stiffed?

Thanks to all
