Atlantic City - Harrah's or Ceasars?

My husband and I are looking into going to Atlantic City in March for a little trip before our first child is born. We can get free rooms at both Ceasars and Harrah's, but are hoping for some advice on where to stay. Ceasars looks much nicer (so far as the rooms are concerned), but I was hoping for an indoor pool, which Harrah's has. I've read some reviews saying that the Harrah's rooms aren't very nice, and I am generally creeped out by hotels! Are the rooms really that bad? Are they any better at Ceasars? Is it worth giving up the pool? I've also read that some rooms are much nicer than others, depending on which tower you stay in. Which tower should I request? We are just looking for a relaxing vacation, with a comfortable and, most importantly, CLEAN, updated bed. I also plan on getting a spa treatment while there if anyone has any experience with either spa! Thank you!

Caesars has a much better location, mid-Boardwalk. The Ocean Tower has the nicest rooms and suites, though somewhat dated. The Centurion Tower was renovated within the last few years and while the rooms aren't as large as the Ocean rooms, they are nice, too. Avoid the Temple tower. Some of the rooms don't even have a window - just a cinder block wall behind the curtain.

I've never stayed at Harrah's. The pool there is beautiful. The big downside to Harrah's is its isolated location requiring you to drive anywhere else you want to go.

I prefer Caesar's rooms but I think the pool at Harrah's is worth the stay. They redid a tower in Harrahs. When you call request the new tower and a higher floor with a great view. Its really pretty out there. If you want crowds and ocean then hit Caesars. The casino is prettier but harder to win in, I think.

Check to see if you stay at Caesar's whether you have access to the pool at Bally's. The hotels are connected and Bally's pool and spa are magnificent. There is a daily charge even for Bally's hotel guests.
