Atlantic City

Could someone please tell me if there is anything to do in Atlantic City for people who are not fond of gambling?

Many thanks in advance.

Not really, unless it's summertime, in which case there's a beach.

Bally's has a nice spa, and there are shows, but really, AC is for those who like to gamble.

There are the usual suspects: restaurants, shows, etc, that go along with any place that has big hotels. Outside of that, no.

If you golf, there are some fantastic courses nearby including Seaview, Harbor Pines and Twisted Dunes. Great beaches in Ventnor and Margate.

I second the Spa at Bally's which is great--if you get a massage you can enjoy the fitness center/indoor pool/whirlpool/steam, etc. for the entire day. Margate has some great places to eat. There's also a vineyard nearby which has tours/tastings.

There's a long boardwalk you can wander along, but there aren't many attractions to recommend. Ther's a Ripley's Museum which is kind of fun, especially if you're bringing children. And some old-fashioned candy shops where you can get good salt water taffy. The shopping is pretty dismal though, there's a mini-mall on a pier that's full of cheap, touristy dreck -- nothing good at all. If you don't like gambling AC is probably not a good choice.
