Atlanta MARTA question

I will be arriving in Atlanta airport at 5:30 on a Sunday. Need to get to Perimeter center on MARTA. Question is will I have to change trains or can I stay on the same train. Also is it easy to catch the train at the airport? Any other info would be helpful as I have never used MARTA. Thanks in advance

Piece of cake. Airport station is just at the end of the terminal, within steps of baggage claim. There's only one platform, and you simply want to get on the train marked for the North line heading to North Springs Station (not the Northeast train heading to Dunwoody). Even if you accidently do get on the wrong train, you can easily switch at any station as far north as Lindbergh.

Not sure exactly where you need to get to at Perimeter, but you'll probably want to get off at the Dunwoody station. It's a big area, not necessarily pedestrian friendly, so be prepared to walk.

One-way fare is $1.75 and can be purchased at the machines in the station or from an attendant behind the glass booths. For the return, you'll have to use a machine, so you'll want change or at least 2 crisp dollars as you'll get 2 tokens if you put in a $5 bill.

Sorry, one correction. The parenthetical should read: "(not the Northeast train heading to Doraville)."

Figure at least 45 minutes. Maybe it will be faster. Also, they aren't using tokens anymore...they are using Breeze tickets. It's still $1.75 each way---purchase tickets at a vending machine. Look at http://www.itsmarta.com for all the info including map.
