atlanta junior olympics 2003
We're travelling to Atlanta to participate and support a Junior Olympic volleyball team June 22-June 29. Any suggestions for hotels/motels that will accommodate 30 adults + 10 teenaged girls. We're looking for a place with cooking facilities, complimentary full breakfast, free parking and with 15 minutes of Georgia World Congress Center. Is this possible? Aloha!

Try the Residence Inn Airport. It's a very nice hotel with all of the amenities you mentioned. If you stay at this facility, I would recommend you book your reservation as soon as possible. They tend to book up fast.

Some possibilities, although I haven't stayed in any of these:
Hawthorn Suites Residence Inn Staybridge Suites Summerfield Suites in Buckhead Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Decatur (east of downtown) Residence Inn Cumberland (northwest, traffic) Sierra Suites Lenox North Perimeter (northside, traffic) ExtendedStay Morrow (south of Atlanta but on the low traffic side) |
Within walking distance, The Hyatt, The Marriott Marquis, The Westin, The Wyndham, and The Ritz-Carlton. I'd be hesitant to stay in Buckhead or at the airport if you business is downtown.

P.S. didnt quite finish. If you cant get anything thru THS,I remember a large AmeriSuites right downtown.Very nice and close and tons of restaurants/food court in the area.I dont think you'll find "free" parking in a suite property in Atlanta but who knows. The E,bassy Suites is right there too.You might have enough rooms for s "group rate" too.Cant hurt to ask.
