Atlanta GTG - Pama at Maggiano's
#21
Sorry guys! I've been drowning in laundry since I got home from Atlanta. Seems DD returned from Spain with 2 seasons of clothes full of starch! Her senora starched everything, even undies and socks!
Starrsville - Thanks for organizing. My first time at a Mangiano's and I loved my Nuzzo's gnocchi.
I would love to claim the prize for coming all the way to Hotlanta (it was 97)! Is it a trip??? To Italy???? I can't claim a prize for the most GTG's as I'm sure Indytravel, Budman or Kal and some of the K9's have been to many more.
Devan and I enjoyed meeting everyone and we both still have our livers!
Anyone wanting Pama info, it's made at Heaven Hill distilleries in Bardstown, KY. http://www.heaven-hill.com/brands-bourbon.html They also make Elijah Craig bourbon! I'm not sure Pama is available everywhere yet, but here's the link for recipes. http://www.pamaliqueur.com/main.html
I'll try to get the pics from Dev and e-mailed in the next day or two.

Glad you guys had fun. I was having a celebration of a big anniversary and a big birthday. Maybe the next time - will you post it on this thread or the other summer GTG thread? I don't really check the US board much.

When/ if there is another, we will be sure to post it on both threads. OWJ and I were talking and we think that summer is just a hard time for a GTG - unless it's in Hawaii! Everyone seems to be going in all directions! Maybe fall in the mountains? Would love to meet more Fodorites "in person".

Okay, guys. I've never done this before so I hope this works.
Here's the link to the photo album on Snapfish. Registration is free (I'm not sure you have to register to view the photos)
http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...41/t_=33334041
I used screen names except for Kelly who has posted his name on the forum before.
Small group but a good one! Hope the next one has more Fodorites able to join us!

I emailed the photo album to those attending. Maybe they can help me figure out how to post the link. If there are any techies out there who want to volunteer to help, email me at starrsvillega at yahoo and I'll email you the photo album.
The link worked once, but then not again. ???

We want to see you next time noe!
You know, there MAY be white trainers under the table. I didn't even look to see. Of course, in Paris that would be the first thing we would look for!
