Atlanta Buckhead Hotel

I am looking for a hotel in Buckhead for a weekend in February. I cannot spend over 90.00 a night so the better names like Hyatt, mariott and embassy suites is out. Does anyone know of a more reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Buckhead. Please help me if you can.

If you want to risk priceline....check out biddingfortravel.com....I saw where someone got the Grand Hyatt for $85, I think....soemone else got the Westin(formerly Swissotel) for around the same amount...and the JW Marriott goes lots of times for in the fifties!
There's Embassy Suites, Crown Plaze,a Doubletree...for even lesser amounts.

I would try priceline as well. However, does anyone know the new name (or maybe I should say relatively new since it may have been changed for years now) of the hotel that use to be Terrace Gardens? It is across from Lenox Mall on Lenox Rd, near, if not right next to, Pier 1? I do not know about now, but when it was the Terrace Gardens it was nice and pretty inexpensive. Great location!

Doubletree behind the Grand Hyatt usually has good prices.

There is a Hampton INN near the intersection of P'tree and Piedmont-if you can get it for $100 or less,I would book it ASAP,GREAT location!

I stayed at AmeriSuites on Peachtree right across from Lennox last year. Very reasonable and they provided free shuttle to Lennox and Phipps Plaza.

Because of a citywide sellout a couple of years ago, I stayed at the Courtyard By Marriott and it was find and under $100 per night.

Thanks to all for answering. Does anyone know if I try priceline and I need two rooms, is it harder to win a bid.

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites in Buckhead on the weekend before for $125.00 . This included drinks Friday afternoon and their big breakfast buffet in the morning for 2. I called direct asked for the lowest rate may it be AAA or a special. This has worked several times. The location is great and the hotel nice. Another time I stayed at the Marriot at Lenox on priceline for $75.00. Just bid on a top star and see what happens.
