will be in aspen for a conference (on my dime), thus looking for the best value in lodging--no frills ok, but must be clean and quiet.

is st moritz a good bet?

how about the annabelle inn or aspen mountain lodge?

Aspen Mountain Chalet is very nicely priced for Aspen, has small but clean rooms, lots of amenities like a pool, laundry and weight room, cold breakfast buffet in the summer and best of all, has a perfect location right in the center of town. A great value and great hotel!

The Inn at Aspen Hotel has rates of $89/night in late may. Book at www.resortquestaspen.com. The Inn is located at the base of Buttermilk ski resort, about 2 miles from Aspen and has a shuttle that can take you around Aspen (free), plus there's the free town shuttle. Free parking and internet too. (Parking costs add up quickly in Aspen!)
