Asheville NC lodging suggestions

Mom and I will be in Asheville for 2-3 days in OCT. We need a place to sleep...not expensive, but nice. Looking at the Days Inn, any comments? Suggestions are also appreciated.

The better budget lodging option in downtown Asheville is the Best Western, located at 22 Woodfin Street. I honestly can't recommend the Days Inn.

You might also want to check online travel agencies such as Expedia or Orbitz to see if you can find a special deal at a place like the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.

Try the Baymont not far from the entrance to Biltmore.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Rocky Ridge Road. Very nice hotel at a reasonable price with an expanded continental breakfast.

There's a very nice Doubletree out a little past Biltmore, although you may have to finagle a bit to get their cheapest rate. The Baymont is across the street and may be cheaper, but a friend said it was very very nice. Soccr, have you stayed there?
