"Paris to the Moon" was Adam Gopnik, wasn't it? The two are brothers, I think.
I haven't read the reviews above, but I read the review of the Anne Truitt retrospective on my bus ride to DC yesterday.

It was a really odd one, especially after reading this review:

One thinks she was happy; the other thinks she was sad. I think the arts critics in Washington should talk to each other. It was really quite amusing.
I recommend the Truitt retrospective to those who can make it before it closes tomorrow.
