Army/Navy

My grandfather was in the Navy so the Army/Navy footabll game is a holiday in my family. He is getting pretty old and I want to try and take him to the actual game this year. I know it is sold out. Anyone know anything about obtaining tickets to the game? Is it possible to scalp tickets? At a price where I wouldn't have to mortgage the farm?

The game's in Baltimore this year. It is sold out. We go every year and never had a problem getting tickets. There are always people who have extra tickets. Last year there were no problems getting tickets -- I had two extra myself from people who paid for them ahead of time but couldn't make the game.

Tickets are around $52-54, and you can get them for face value or even less near kick-off in most cases.

GO NAVY -- BEAT ARMY!!! ((b))

Thanks for that info! I found that stubhub has them - cheap seats for about $150 but your saying to hold off and I can get them at the game for $50? THat sounds great!

Oh, and one more thing, how can I be assured that I am sitting on the Navy side? I noticed seating called "Navy Section" but obviously I'm not going to sit with the Cadets. I also don't want my grandfather to die screaming for Navy in the Army side.

I wouldn't pay that on stubhub. It's a rip off.

I've been going to the game for years. Some times with tickets and when I didn't have tickets, got them at the stadium.

You need to figure out which side Navy will be on this year. The last time the game was in Baltimore, I believe they were on the South side which was in the shade. It was cold. Go on line and get a seating/section chart and go from there. ((b))

What about emailing the details of the vet grandfather (with some kind of proof) to a military academy? Go to the websites of academy see if you can find someone to email.

Just at thought
