Arizona, here we come!

Family is leaving tomorrow morning for 11 days in Arizona. Visiting Sedona, Grand Canyon, Phoenix and Tucson. Planning a jeep tour in Sedona, hiking in the Canyon, Talesien West in Phoenix and Saguaro NP, Sabino Canyon in Tucson. Any other must sees?

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, which is next door to Saguaro Nat'l Monument. The church San Xavier del Bac (aka the White Dove of the Desert), about 10 miles south of Tucson.

For a unique eating experience, visit the Pinnacle Peak Patio. Only steak (don't wear a tie)

As a Tucsonan, I would say skip Pinnacle Peak. It's hokey and not very good. There are so many really good restaurants in Tucson. Try The Barrio, Janos or J Bar, Wildflower, Mi Nidito, or Cafe Poca Cosa.

Our out ot town friends love Rawhide, a family western town/restaurant in north Scottsdale...Desert Sonora Museum in Tucson is a MUST...Apache Trail is a visitors' favorite desert drive by three lakes. Your front desk or concierge can give you directions to that area via Superstition Mountain locations.....
