Area with best sunshine in hawaiian islands
My wife and young family would like to try a 2 week holiday in hawaii next Feb.I've heard that it's beautifull but that weather can be a let down.If any area's provide an advantage over other's in this regard it may be a good place to start planing our trip from.Any advice in this regardv would be appreciated.

Try the Kahala (sp?) Coast area of the Big Island. Avoid Kauai (sp?)...it's beautiful and lush, but rainy. Oahu should be fine.

, too.

Sunshine? Almost everywhere in Hawaii, but mostly on the leeward coasts of the islands. Try Lahaina, Kihei, Kona and of course, Waikiki. The first three are on the Neighbor islands and Waikiki is on very urban Oahu.
For the best weather, try late Spring (it's not too hot) and avoid Nov and Dec....rainy season.

Kauai does get rain - almost every day, but only for a little while and then it clears right back up again....Poipu is the "sunny side" of the island....you can almost always get sun there!!

Kauai and Maui are the best for kids...Oahu (esp Honolulu) is too touristy and too crowded...may as well just go to California....
We stayed at Lawai Beach Resort on Poipu Beach in Kauai. It's the south side of the island and very nice. The north shore is rainy, but it too is very nice. I'd stay in the Poipu area.
