Not that I have been divorced but I thought it would be interesting to know whether divorced people end up having negative thoughts about the place where they took their honeymoon with someone they thought they'd been in love with til doomsday.

Not me...I still love to go to Las Vegas even with a divorce ending a 22 year marriage.

I'm not divorced, but I'm definitely not 'wired' that way.
I move on and leave those types of things behind.
Not that I'd want to live in the same house after a divorce, but as far as travel destinations, even honeymoon hotels, can't imagine it would bother me a bit.
But I think that's more typical of a guy's perspective than a woman's.

I am stil married, just celebrated 31 years.

We went to Acapulco and Mexico City on our honeymoon but have no desire to go back.

Too many other places in this world we want to see.

Well, not bitter or angry thoughts, just sad. I won't go back to the place where I honeymooned even though it used to be one of my favorite vacation spots. Would rather not be reminded of all the fun times with my ex. There are plenty of other nice places to go for vacation so it's not a big deal.
