Oh well crap - we were going to try Enterprise so they could pick us up at the MARTA station, but that rental location closes at noon on Saturdays and our flight doesn't get in until 2 PM. LOL - back to the drawing board!

ccolor..Can you pick it up at the airport and turn it back in in Roswell?

I am not really understanding your time frame. Why are you coming back to Atl at 9:30 on Monday morning? Is that when your flight is leaving and if so didn't you decide to come back Sunday night?

If you are renting Saturday afternoon to Sunday night the airport location shouldn't be a problem. There would probably be more traffic in Doraville/Roswell on a Saturday afternoon--sunday night than by the airport.

But if I am not understanding your itinerary, which is probably the case, I would ask about picking it up at the airport and dropping it off in Roswell.

Good luck and have a great time.

ccolor, if stay at an airport hotel the night before you won't have any problems.

If you drive in from D, then leave REALLY early and breakfast at Paschals at the airport. Or spend the night at an airport in the Alpharetta/ Roswell area near the North Springs station - but that's the worst traffic in Atlanta IMO.

I definitely recommend an airport hotel

One of our ministers married at that vineyard and it was a gorgeous wedding. Folks expected to see her walk up the aisle - and she walked through the vineyard instead

Or, check Hertz and the other rental agencies. They have desks in hotels and you could catch a cab from the MARTA station to the car rental counter at the hotel.

But, the car and airport hotel would be the easiest option.

If your flight leaves Monday morning at 9:30 you would need to be at the airport at 7:30 you could pick up at the airport and return there very late Sunday and stay near the airport that night. None of the city locations open early enough on Monday for you todrop it off and get to the airport for a 9:30 flight.

If you do not have to be at the airport until 9:30 then you could see if they would let you pick up at the airport and drop off at a different location -- or you could ocnsider picking up at Piedmont -- near the Lindburgh station and returning there -- they open at 7:30 on Monday and then Marta to the airport is about half an hour.

Ahhh folks, the more I look at this the idea of staying at the airport on Sunday night is the only way to go (or come back as the case may be, nyuk, nyuk). This is supposed to be a wonderful time [email protected] it, and I'm not going to be so fussed about logistics!! LOLOL
iceeu2 has sweetly offered to help me with Priceline when it gets closer to the date so now I just have to work on DH so he will understand. Hmmmmm, any help with that one? *smile*

Well, now, I've have never been accused of sweetness, but I'll take it!!!

Just let him see what a "sweet deal" you can get. Hilton for $55...Hyatt Place for $40....those are deals.
