April rain?

We would love to stay on Kauai, either in Lihue or Poipu during the third week in April. Has anyone experienced much rain during that time? I know it would be raining in Princeville.

nancy,<BR><BR>My crystal ball says it only rains during even numbered weeks, so you should be fine.<BR><BR>Mr. Weather

Hey Mister Weather... now that I have you online, can you tell me if it is going to be dry in Boston during Thanksgiving later this year?

Mr. Weather Sep 13th, 2002 12:59 PM

Dear Gas King Mountain,<BR><BR>Thank you so much for your inquiry. I have just completed exhaustive research on your question and came up with the following forecast for Thanksgiving day in Boston: Clear to partly cloudy until 10:03 am. Chance of clouds 10:05 am until 3:17 pm. May or may not have moisture from 4:47 until 6:23. ---------My picture is fading--------!<BR><BR>Dear Gas,<BR><BR>That is the best I can do for now. Probably tomorrow, I will have more advanced weather forecasts for anyone interested.<BR><BR>Actually, if you included your zip code, I could probably do better.<BR><BR>My question is, why do we, as taxpayers, fund the United States Weather Service? They have trouble forecasting the weather for tomorrow!!!!!! All I need is some Fodors person to ask about the weather 2 1/2 months from now.<BR><BR>Mr. Weather

I'm so glad I asked my legitimate question. Thank you for nothing.

Poor nancy,<BR><BR>" Message: I'm so glad I asked my legitimate question. "<BR><BR>You are correct, nancy. This is September 14, 2002. You are asking for a weather report for the third week in April, 2003. Very legitimate.<BR><BR>Unbelievable

Nancy,<BR><BR>We stayed in Poipu, on the south side of the island, because it didn't rain much there. <BR><BR>Christina

Nancy, Kauai is one of the "wettest" places in the US. Poipu is probably the safest bet. But certainly no one can guarantee the weather. Even at the end of June there was rain in the interior of the island.

Thank you to those who actually helped me with my question. I think they realized I meant during any April, not "Gee, do you know what the weather is going to be like April 23, 2003?"

What do you mean "I know it would be raining in Princeville" ? Does it rain in Princeville all the time ?
