Apartment in San Francisco neighbourhoods
 

Hi

My wife and I are travelling to San Francisco mid May. Can anyone recommend an apartment/b&b in a nice area with access to public transport. Stayed in the city last few times. Want to stay in a neighbourhood close to city this time. Thanks

We maybe need some clarification - ALL of the neighborhoods in SF are in, and part of, the city. So . . . do you mean a neighborhood in SF, or do you mean out in the suburbs somewhere (on the Peninsula, in Marin County, the East Bay or ???)

Not in the suburbs, a neighbourhood in San Francisco itself.Somewhere leafy.

We really like staying in The Castro district. It has a great vibe, terrific restaurants and you can easily get to any part of the city via the historic F Market line or other public transit options. Try AirBnB.com. I looked at the place we have stayed but it is not available in mid May.
