Anything shaking in Hawaii ?

Everybody OK?
:?
Here is link to reported 5.0 earthquake:http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/West/08/2....ap/index.html

I doubt there was any damage of note. A 5.0-magnitude shaker rattles nerves and dishes, and it is a substantial jolt (you will feel it), but not really that big.

I KNEW IT!! It woke me up. I told my husband either we had an earthquake or a criminal just came in and shook our bed! I made him get up and check on everything. He said it was just him kicking.

Last time I checked, lots of hips were ashaking, arattling, and arolling

I saw a report that said if you feel an earthquake to RUN from the beach because it can cause a tidal wave.

Curious if 5.0 earthquakes are common in Hawaii?

Also Islandmom, did or would you have heard the tsunami warning sirens if you were or are in Hawaii?
:?

Only second one I've felt in ten years. No warnings went off. They have gone off when earthquakes happen far away in other Pacific areas. I think they give you a few hours so you can move your boats out.
