Anyone visit Casa de Estrellas in SF or El Monde Sagrado in Taos?
We're ending our week long honeymoon road trip in New Mexico... haven't seen many reviews on casa de estrellas (and its the only hotel in august with all the rooms available. hmmm) and i'm wondering if we should book somewhere else instead.
Suggestions?

August is Indian Market (Sat 23rd), the busiest month of the year, next to Christmas.
I left a note on your other thread regarding Casa de Estrellas. I know where it is located but never stayed there. It's on a busy street (relatively speaking, of course) but a great location close to the plaza and restaurants. I would call the inn to make the reservation. That is odd that all of the rooms are available unless they have their prices too high.
If that is all that is available make the reservation. And make dinner reservations as soon as they are taking them as well.

Indian Market brings the best of the best. If you have the opportunity to be there don't miss it.

We stayed at Casa de Estrellas recently for 2 nights. We were in the villa named Concerto #1. It was wonderful. Very high end small kitchen, beautiful tile in kitchen and bath, lovely light fixtures, just a great atmosphere, and loved the kiva fireplace.
Their spa is the best I have experienced in Santa Fe (we had massages there both evenings of our stay). Location is great, two short blocks from the Plaza on the "quiet side,", the side of the Plaza where the cathedral is. Although our villa's living area fronted Paseo de Peralta, we had no street noise. It felt very private and we even had a garage for the car.
The only thing that was a bit odd was the small and old TV in the bedroom (the only TV in the unit). It had very few channels (and half of them were spanish-speaking channels), bad reception, and just was very out of place considering how great the kitchen appliances (even a built in ice machine, trash compactor, and espresso maker) and bathroom were.
Otherwise we loved this place and will stay there again.
