Anyone tried the new Disney Cruise Line?

I'm thinking of taking my 4 kids (ages 1-6) on the 7 day combination cruise/resort package now being offered by the new Disney Cruise Line. Does anyone who's been on-board have any advice?

Also which of the Disney resorts would you recommend?

The cruise ship will not take its maiden voyage until the end of July. My family has already booked a suite for next summer, and the week we wanted was already booked for the size of room, so don't wait too long. We are staying at the Grand Floridian, but they are pretty flexible with the lodging with the cruise packages. There is a discount for early bookings you might want to check with a travel agent asap.

I highly reccomend the Polynesian Resort for a tropical feel. The rooms in the Tonga building face the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella's Castle and the view is breathtaking. Here you can also receive the royal polynesian treatment through the concierge service. The other really nice place to stay is the Boardwalk. This is a relatively new hotel with a very nice flare for entertainment. There is a dance hall, ESPN club, and much, more to entertain everyone. Feel free to E-mail me for any other info I can share. My family and I have been there 9 times with each stay a week long.

Just returned from a week at DW. 4 adults (self, wife, daughter and her husband) and 2 children (21/2 years and 3 months). We stayed at the Villas at Disney Institute. I highly recommend this for families. We had a two story townhouse with full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two full baths. It is a little bit of a ride (either by car or Disney bus) to the parks, but a very relaxing atmosphere for the family. Also saves money by allowing you to fix breakfast (the maid puts all dishes in dishwasher and turns it on). For further questions, E-mail me at the above address.

We also looked into taking our 2-year old daughter on the Disney line. Unfortunately the "kids" things only take kids 3 and over, so we are taking her to Maui instead. But I guess if you have other kids who are over 3 then it should be lots of fun for them.
